In Székelyudvarhely, it is rare to find an unbuilt plot, with panoramic views and good location, close to the city center. Even rarer is the natural environment of this plot, surrounded by old oak trees and tall pine trees. These unique features were coupled with the client's generous yet specific vision of a flat-roofed villa with a cool elegance. The road to the house winds up the hillside, clearly marking the directions to the access. The nearly 700 sqm, three-story building places great emphasis on spaces for relaxation and sports, such as the sauna with its own access to the garden, the wellness area, or the fitness room located in the basement. The villa also has a panoramic infinity-edge pool with a separate sunbathing terrace. The selected materials, in tune with the location, suggest timelessness. The dominant wood and stone surfaces are interrupted only by large glass walls and glass railings. The building is defined by a complex spatial system and the play of timeless materials, free from the stylistic signs of passing architectural trends. We envisioned a house that could age gracefully over time with the surrounding giant trees.
